Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His red hair is thinning but still full. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for him, and Guy does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Guy reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to find somewhere to settle down
