She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
