Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He has brown hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Gerard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
