History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Kyle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Katherine is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She struck the Map Maker job and began her own company from there.
