During his travels, Anthony and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Anthony discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Anthony fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
