Description: She likes to wear pastel tank tops with green skirt. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her blonde hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Sarah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by her family; and to unite with her sister

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is obsessed with her god.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a pastel suit, green shirt, and yellow tie. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To be a Slave Trader again; and further expansion of business
