History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Charles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: Ahlyssa wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahlyssa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Lewis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is greedy
