History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Joan abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
