History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her father's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

In the meantime she has taken over work as a Fletcher and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
