History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Rosalind was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rosalind's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rosalind and her spouse have recently divorced.
