His hair is black and curly. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her hair is long and white with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small blue clips. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Elysande embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Elysande was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Anselm was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
