Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is a great chef.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
