Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Matilda's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Matilda grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Conrad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
