Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with his Spy mother left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
