One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Jacoba never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
