History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Through the years after Jane was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jane's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dean studied abroad. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To protect his home; and doesn't want to be a cook and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bernard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Slave Trader for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to raise her children well
