History: She was born in the west. When Herleva reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear flannel. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
