History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by giants. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Ermina is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ermina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Vicky was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Dyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Rolf was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
