History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: He comes from a rich western family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
