History: Matilda hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
