Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a black top hat and black clothes. Her silver hair is lengthy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'9" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She has moderate length chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born to a Body Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: He wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time, and carries longswords. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aldous does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
