History: He was born in the north. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Charles began to lead the lost caravan. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
