He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Beatrice's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Beatrice liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
