History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Joan never married again. Personality: Hunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Stylist, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by his family; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
