It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Shane took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fletcher. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fletcher for hire.
