History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Ella was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Rosalind alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern
