History: Cecily hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Griselda speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Adelaide lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
