History: She comes from a rich northern family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her brown hair, when down, is lengthy. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
