History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rosamund was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Rosamund was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Soapmaker. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
