History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Hugolina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugolina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugolina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
