Personality: Chad is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Junk Dealer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Ralf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
