She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her youth she was a Bookbinder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Guy was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Guy's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
