History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. During his travels, Hugh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Junk Dealer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Rohesia is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rohesia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
