Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dean will drive conversation. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is wracked by social anxiety
