History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. A true patriot, Anselm would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He is a Succubi in disguise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Anselm has worked very hard to control his curse. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
