History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She got into the Sailor business at a young age. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a hunter and was forced into it by his family
