Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting goblins, the young Melissa began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
