History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to be a carpenter again

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
