Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and many goblins want him driven away

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
