Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Matilda hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he loathes his own lifestyle
