Personality: She is fixated on the number 42. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Interpreter. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When Diggory reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a Interpreter soon after.

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
