Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Bertram enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ahlyssa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ahlyssa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
