History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ernest studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
