History: Alex was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with his Gardener mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emma grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emma. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.
