History: She was raised in a island tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 85. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Agatha was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost.
