Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Matilda is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Armorer for the past few years.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
