History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

History: Matilda lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Body Guard, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by her family
