History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Diggory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in greatsword use. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.
