History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by giants. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
