Description: This slender man stands about 6'4". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His hair is long and white with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This late middle aged man wears bulky green painted plate armor and is in decent physical shape. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bernard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the west
